The Neo Geo home edition (AES) of Metal Slug 4 is now confirmed to ship on June 13, 2002. Preorders for the Japanese edition may be submitted online starting today. If you wish to mark a preference for a "possible" English [USA] edition of this game, feel free to note it in the "Notes" section of the order form. 
   The other recent big announcement related to SNK, Dreamcast King of Fighters 2000, has not been given a ship date yet. 

   NCS has now added Ikaruga to our online shop for preorders. We'll also send out an email this morning to notify everyone who has requested the game over the past few days. We request that everyone on our contact list place an official order online. Your credit card won't be charged until the game ships and your online order will help us manage the large number of reservations that have been submitted by email thus far. 
   Ikaruga ships on May 30 for the Dreamcast at Y5800 or US$53. A version for the Playstation 2 is also expected but we'll post an update once we have a confirmed ship date. Since the game is a NAOMI native, we'd probably just recommend the Dreamcast version for a carbon copy of what you'll find in the coin-op. That said, we rank the game as a top tier shooter with exhilarating 3-D sequences, intelligent gameplay which does not simply rely on mindless "kill everything that moves" and a unique game system. We'd expect nothing less from the likes of Treasure...
