PS2: Gundam Lost War Chronicles  JPN  $60  BUY
The One Year War exhausted the resources of both sides involved as detailed in the anime episodes in various games based on the Gundam franchise. The latest offering from Bandai looks at the many "lost" missions and skirmishes which contributed to the overall war. Upon starting the game, a bevy of options are summoned with the Mission Mode offering the main thrust of the game with 30 missions, roughly split between the Federation and Zeon sides. Extra mode allows two players to go on cooperative missions. The other modes include a one-on-one battle against a PS2 controlled mech, a three-on-three battle against the PS2, and two-human player iterations of the battle modes. Missions are played with two flanking soldiers along for the ride in a sort of deadly cadre. Initial impressions are favorable. The graphics are workable but it's obvious that Bandai is rehashing a lot of the robot models from previous games. Fighting changes from long range projectile attacks to close range sword slashing. The damage model works fairly with close-range attacks impacting a lot more injury than sniper fire from afar.

PS2: Gundam Lost War Chronicles Limited Box  JPN  $100  BUY

In addition to the regular edition of Gundam LWC, a limited edition box is also shipping to preorders and new orders today. Opening up the LE box, two inner boxes must be hoisted up from their resting areas. One is a laminated cardboard slipcase which holds the Gundam game with artwork from the cover of the game. The front of the slipcase features Federation soldiers and crew while the back looks at a group shot of Zeon crew. Packed inside the slipcase along with the game is a Mobile Suits Gundam Lost Wars Chronicles Official Guide Book (52 pages) which details all of the in-game mecha from Zeon and Federation sides, the human players involved, and gives stats on the mecha and humans (in Japanese and English). The other box contains a white t-shirt with a Gundam design silk-screened on the chest with marginal artwork on the lower portions of the shirt. The size is a "free-size" shirt which fits most body sizes from Small to Large. If you're an XL, you might want to bequeath the shirt to a younger brother, a cousin, or someone smaller than you. ETC: Updates, A strange request for advice

A Gamecube carrying case decorated with nifty Mario Sunshine artwork and logo arrived today. We don't have the equipment to photograph the product this morning but we'll throw up some pictures and a store listing in tomorrow's update. The carrying case holds a Gamecube, 1 joypad, all cables and up to five Japanese cartridges. A compartment also holds a Gameboy Advance and a few GBA carts. We figure this would be the perfect companion for the traveling Gamecube player.
The rest of the other new products expected this week are due to arrive tomorrow, including the Drummania set.

Here goes.... If anyone out there knows of a "reputable" and reliable stripper service in New York City that caters to bachelor parties, please share the love and the digits by sending the information to this (and only this, please) email account. It's for a friend. Thanks.
