Model,
Japanese television actress and Miss Japan Contest of 1992,
Norika Fujiwara's image has been beamed across Japanese
television by way of commercials and shows across Japan. Her
stint as J-Phone's photogenic spokesperson helped build the
Vodaphone/J-Phone user base to 12.785 million subscribers as
of July 2002. Despite the success, Miss Fujiwara was
replaced earlier this year by ads featuring everyday
Japanese citizens in J-Phone's effort to reach the DoCoMo
user base.
Noriko Fujiwara now invades the Playstation
screen in the persona of Alicia, a hardened tactical ops
specialist. As Alicia, players go on strike missions and
execute targets, disable enemy outposts, and engage in other
bombastic action. Each mission requires different weaponry
which a good corps leader picks out from a mix of long range
and short range firearms. New weapons may be appropriated
during successful outings. On a typical excursion, the
player arranges the team so that cooperation and interplay
allow for better chances of successfully completing the
mission. The landscape that you encounter in each level
plays a critical factor during the game with trees and other
flora providing cover or camouflage. When moving, players
have a range of different options including a normal gait,
crawling, jumping, and climbing. An array of killing moves
may be used including strangulation, critical slashes, and
execution by gunshot. In addition to the mayhem, puzzles are
littered throughout levels to balance the bloodlust with
cognitive function. |
