Ichijo
Hikaru, aka Rick Hunter, flies through the heavens in his VF-1S
Super Valkyrie. Shrunk to 1/55 scale in this Bandai
reproduction toy, an assortment of accessories such as
missiles, jet boosters, armor accessories, and a gun are
included in the packaging for playing and posturing. The
armor pieces may be "bolted" onto the Valkyrie for
the semblance of added protection. Similar to Yamato
Valkyries, die-cast metal and plastic parts are used for the
construction of the toy. As usual, the Super Valkyrie
transforms between robot to gerwalk to battroid. This
Valkyrie was originally released 20 years ago during the
heyday of the Macross franchise.
