TOY: Digi-Q Formula Ferrari F-2002  JPN PREORDER  
   Preorders were opened last week for Konami's latest addition to their line of officially licensed Formula racing models. Built to 1/43 scale, the Digi-Q Formula Ferrari mirrors it's big real world racing brother closely with sculpted detailing and accurate proportions. The aerodynamic contours and vehicle balance is retained in this toy model, which Konami stresses is not a toy but a true to scale model. The basic Digi Q Formula Ferrari F2002 package is priced at Y3980, which includes the vehicle seen to the left and an infra-red "gun controller" which allows you to manipulate your new Ferrari on an indoor racetrack. If you're a free spirit, you can try racing it on city streets and whip the car in and out of foot traffic. The controller's software settings may be tweaked to enhance performance in terms of speed, acceleration, steering wheel balance, and brake. A Digi Q Formula Ferrari F2002 Starter kit will also be sold at Y6980 along with a Digi Q Formula Display Charger atY1980.    It's relatively calm this week with a handful of releases for PS1 and PS2. Note that Playstation Night Raid appears to be scheduled for October 10. We'll update accordingly if it does ship this week.
