Back from the past, the Autobot named Sideswipe rolls once
again when Takara re-releases the changeable robot in March
2003. Part of the Transformers Collection, the Sideswipe
package includes the figure seen to the left, an large
trading card, and a booklet with data and photos. |

Also shipping in March 2003, Optimus Prime receives the
Transformers Collection treatment as well. Prime shifts from
gawky robot to bulky convoy with number of tucks, swivels,
and changes. Similar to Sideswipe, the Convoy toy includes
the main figure, a trading card, and a booklet. In addition
to all this, an energy axe comes part and parcel. Pricing
for either toy is expected to range $25 to $30.
