PS2: Triangle Again  JPN 
   Animation and music are melded together in Triangle Again, an interactive flick-action game from Production I.G. and musician Toshiaki Otsubo. As the story goes, a young J-pop music prodigy named Akari Tateshina loses her mentor. With Akari's guiding light gone from the picture, an uncertain destiny awaits her. The Japanese music industry churns out and recycles talent at a cruel pace but that won't do. Help Akari practice, train and hone her singing voice in order to keep her career on the proper trajectory until her debut as a J-pop star. Make that a lasting J-Pop starlet. GBA: King of Fighters EX2: The Howling Blood  JPN 
   Several months after the last King of Fighters tournament, invitations are mailed out to fighters around the world for another battle royale. Twenty one fighters disbursed into seven teams duke it out for the honor of world champions. Surpassing the original KOF EX in both animation quality and execution, EX2 plays very well and at a lively pace. Computer opponents press the attack (Leona's bombs are aggressively planted) and put up a challenging fight ripe for your countering and/or blocking.  [View back cover]

 

 

 
NEWS: Assorted Updates  JPN 
   Preorders for the import Gameboy Advance SP rushed in briskly yesterday. We watched the order flow and noticed that silver units led the other colors by a wide margin in the morning. As afternoon came and news of the USA release spread, black units led the charge although silver still put up a good fight. Sadly, indigo (or is it cobalt?) lagged behind the other colors with a ratio of roughly 8 per every 100 preorders. This morning, the overnight recap appears to have silver leading again with a strong showing. Sorta like a 24-hour horse race with the following results Win: Silver, Place: Black, Show: Indigo.
   PS2 Kingdom Hearts Final Mix and World Soccer Winning Eleven 6: Final Evolution were restocked today and any backorders will ship this afternoon. NCS expect Panasonic Q restock and Japanese PS2 consoles next week.
