NEWS: Sakura and Aqua Playstation 2 Consoles, Other News  JPN

 PS2  Sony freshens up the look of PS2 with powdery pink and aqua shells in a new limited edition console which shipped in Japan yesterday. Adding to the cool factor of new colors, a matching stand and joypad are included to complete the look. NCS expects delivery of the new Japanese PS2 consoles on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. Pricing is set at US$319 per and preorders are welcome starting today. Please note: Japanese consoles only play Japanese PS2 software and DVDs.

 PREORDER  Two new Wonderswan releases were recently added to vendor preorder lists: Hunter X Hunter Greed Island which ships on April 24 and Gundam Giren no Yabou Special shipping on May 02.
 SCANS  A number of new imports arrived yesterday. Thanks to scanning technology, visitors may view back scans for PS2 Formula One 2002, Giren no Yabou: Zeon Dokuritsu Sensouden, Pride or Yamasa Digi World 4D. GBA tennis players may view the back scans for Prince of Tennis Cool Blue or Passion Red. Finally, old school Playstation fans may ogle the back scans for Shienryu and Wai Wai Kart.
 TOYS  Bandai announced a new Evangelion diecast action figure shipping in May 2003 while Banpresto started accepting preorders for a big bundle of Kirby toys at a cool US$1500 per set which ships in March 2003.
 UPDATE  An early shipment of PS2 Shin Sangoku Musou 3 [Regular] is expected on Monday morning and we'll process and ship preorders once the game arrives.
 ACTION REPLAY  The Gamecube Action Replay is now in stock and shipping to preorders today. The Freeloader revision inside the AR is v1.06B, so no worries there.
 
NEWS: Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne LE Photo Gallery  JPN
   This much is true: Atlus always puts out the good schwag in their line of Shin Megami Tensei LE games. Thanks to Atlus, we have a two wristwatches, a statue, pendants, colorful posters and data sheets from previous releases. With the new Nocturne kit, NCS adds a metal incense burner to our SMT collection. A packet of incense is also included but once we burn that up, we're not sure if Atlus will dole out some more to fill our olfactory senses.
