NEWS: Afterburner Alternative for GBA   JPN
A little late perhaps but Japanese manufacturer Gametech has released an alternative to the Afterburner dubbed the "Stick-on Light." Requiring no disassembly of the GBA unit other than removing the plastic screen over the LCD, the Gametech kit includes a replacement screen, a lamp and a tool. The installation process follows:

° Replace the original GBA screen cover with the new reflective screen cover.
° Clip the lamp on top of the GBA. Done.

The replacement screen scatters light from the lamp around the edges of the GBA screen and provides a uniform level of illumination. Pricing is expected to be US$39 if we decide to stock the item. NCS will post a full review once we receive our sample.
