An early shipment of the Asian version of SSM3 arrived today and preorders will be shipped this afternoon. Please note that Asian games will only play on Japanese PS2 consoles. The game includes a Japanese instruction manual with Chinese notations and a quick-start card. Upon starting SSM3, players are treated to a cinema which shows an army using siege weapons which shoot fireballs. The fireballs eventually morph into green dragons and assault an enemy fortification. The intro continues for about a minute and eventually we get the title screen and a large amount of game options to select from (in Japanese.) Choosing a practice game will dump you in a battleground where you dismantle moving siege machines with your sword.
