ORDER
   Upon beginning the Shining Soul game, we sat through the short intro and looked through the available characters. Settling on the archer who was knighted NCS, the game began in a little town with a pronouncement by an old guy sporting an eye patch. He bellowed "Now it's time to defeat the Dark Dragon once and for all!" Once control was granted, we noticed our archer looked like Zelda from the side and quickly went on our way...

ORDER
   Agents in Japan who graciously supplied our company with SO3LE from a couple of 7-11 convenience stores got their commissions and we got what we wanted. Each Star Ocean 3 LE game includes three packaged cellphone straps which are packed in shiny little Star Ocean bags. The front of all three bags are the same (look to the left) but the backs are marked by blue, red or white cellophane to distinguish one from the other. XBOX

  Action Replay

PREORDER
   Preorders are open today for the Xbox version of Datel's Action Replay device. Unlike other AR devices for the Gamecube, PS2, etc, the Xbox version is more of a "Powersave" loader rather than a true cheat code device. These so-called Powersaves are hacked save-data files which players may download from Datel or the net. Game saves from other players may also be shared and distributed. Cheats may consist of unlimited health, money or completed levels in a particular game.  
   The hardware packaged with the Action Replay include a USB cradle which connects to your PC and a specially designed 8M memory card for loading "Powersaves" onto. Gamers will have to supply a USB cable to connect cradle to computer as it is not included. The Xbox AR includes preloaded Powersaves but in order to take advantage of new and freshly hacked data from Datel, a USB connection to your PC is required.
   There is no Freeloader-like functionality on the Xbox Action Replay and you will not be able to play import games with the Action Replay. You will also be unable to create your own cheat codes. Despite these stipulations, NCS expects to stock the Xbox AR on March 13, 2003 and all preorders will ship upon delivery to our company.
