   All orders for the Japanese version of FFX-2 have shipped yesterday. Today, NCS processes any demand for the ASIAN territory version of the game. To clarify any confusion regarding the two versions, we're throwing up a short FAQ below.
What are the differences between the JPN and ASN versions of PS2 games?
   The Asian version of a PS2 game is identical to the Japanese territory version of a game with the exception of two packaging changes. The first noticeable difference is the lack of Japan territory distribution marks on the back of the DVD case insert. The second is the inclusion of an English/Chinese quick-start guide inside the packaging. In the case of FFX-2, the manual and game language are entirely in Japanese.

I can play ASN territory games on my Japanese PS2?
   Yes, all Asian games carry the  NTSC | J  mark and work with Japanese PS2s.

Why do the majority of NCS' customers prefer Japanese versions of games?
   We attribute the preference to what we term "territorial purity" where the Japanese versions are considered more authentic than ASIAN versions of games even though both versions are printed by the original publisher. We also prefer the Japanese versions of games over their Asian counterparts although we do import ASIAN versions in order to stay competitive in the marketplace.

  Love Hina Gojasu Chiratto Happening!

   Konami has confirmed May 22, 2003 as the ship date for their new PS2 Love Hina Gojasu Chiratto Happening! game. Players inhabit the unsteady body of Keitaro Urashima, a Tokyo University aspirant who juggles his responsibilities as a dorm manager and a student in search of college. To complicate matters, a bevy of dorm beauties foil any normal routines that he might hope to groove into. The PS2 game features animated interaction sequences as well as mini-games whose successful navigation allow Keitaro to move one step closer to Todai. A regular and limited edition are being released but due to the small price disparity, we will only stock the LE.
