Fire Pro Wrestling Z
Limited Edition |
 |
|
Preorders are now open for the limited edition
of what Spike claims will be the last Fire Pro Wrestling
game. Ever. That pronouncement has to be worth the price of
admission alone. Sadly, Spike has not announced the
inclusions in the limited edition but we'll post more
information once the company decides to divulge more
details. One would assume that product specs would be
included in order for vendors to preorder appropriately but Japanese
publishers seem to enjoy their cloaks of secrecy.
If we had the ear of Spike's collective development crew, we'd make a few
suggestions on what to include in the LE. First off, a shiny
Keiji Mutoh trading card gilded in 24K would be nice. Since gold
currently trades at about US$327 per ounce, Spike can gild
each card with roughly 1/10 an ounce of gold to account for
the Y3000 difference in price between the regular and
limited editions. If they want to be miserly and maximize
profits, gilding the cards with gold paint would save them
about $326.98 per 10 cards. We'd also like to see a fat
history book on the FPW mythos which regales readers with
the sweet inception of the series to the somber end. The
tome may also spare a few pages on the death of publisher
Human and how Spike saved the day for puroresu otaku the
world over. Whatever Spike decides to drop into the LE,
we're fairly confident that the schwag will be worthy. |
