Final Fantasy XI Girade no Genei

A surprise supply of FFXI Girade no Genei arrived earlier this morning and some early preorders are shipping out today. The remainder of the FFXI expansion disks for PS2 are expected on Thursday and any remaining PS2 preorders will ship tomorrow. The PS2 All in One pack will also arrive tomorrow morning. Please note that the PC version of FFXI Girade no Genei is now expected on Friday or next Monday due to distribution delays in Japan.
With the FFXI expansion disk, many new lands are opened up for exploration in Vana'diel including Ifrit's Cauldron (a volcanic area), Cape Terrigan, Sea Serpent Grotto and Yuhtunga Forest. New classes in the game are Dragoon, Summoner, Ninja and Samurai. Dragoons may call upon a partner dragon for massive attacks while Summoners have the ability to roust enemies with the likes of Carbuncle, Ifrit, Shiva, TItan and Ramuh. A mass of new items in the expansion disk add to the variety of tools in the game. Please note that the original FFXI must be installed on your hard drive in order to play FFXI Expansion.

  Galaxy Angel

Publisher Broccoli has a knack for creating sickeningly sweet anime heroines and Galaxy Angel fits the bill swimmingly. Redheaded Milfeulle Sakuraba leads the Galaxy Angel Squadron in various jobs throughout the cosmos including important assignments such as saving hapless cats and acting as couriers. An eclectic cast of characters include personalities such as cosplay queen Mint Blancmanche and the uncouth stylings of Ranpha Franboise. Vanilla H and Forte Stollen make up the rest of the mighty quintet.
When a sovereign country suffers the indignity of a military coup d'etat, the Galaxy Angel crew come to the rescue in a bid to restore imperial power. Played in character interaction episodes and strategic battles, Galaxy Angel requires the player to increase rapport with team mates in order to increase fighting efficacy and performance. When battles commence, the game switches to the girls' respective Angel Frames (fighting ships) where you move them on a galactic grid and bark orders to your mates. Ranpha wields the Kung-Fu Fighter frame while Forte blasts away in her Trigger Happy frame.

  General Updates

Since USA distributors can't seem to stock enough Gamecube Freeloaders for the American market and are consistently running into supply bottlenecks, we have gone back to the source and have imported another supply from the UK. $19 as usual.
As expected, yesterday's stunning Yuna figure is now sold out. We expect a small quantity of restock by next week. Also as we expected, we sold an astonishing two (count 'em) Tidus clothing sets. We might need restock in about 7 years.
The USA version of Gamecube Ikaruga arrived this morning. Price stands at $40. There was a time when all hope had been dashed (Treasure denied it completely at one point) for any home conversion of Ikaruga. Look at it now.
