Beyond the Grave with coffin

  NEWS Gun Grave Action Figure - Shipping Oct. 2003
   With two guns in hand and ready to blast, the shadowy Beyond the Grave gave action-game fans a thrill when Sega cast him in PS2 Gun Grave. A special limited edition game bundle was also released in Japan which included a mini 4" BTG figure from Kaiyodo. In the USA, the 4" BTG figure was made available through Diamond where 2003 pieces were distributed.  
   To complement the earlier 4" figure, Kaiyodo ships an 8" posable BTG which includes the dual Cerberos firearms, variant heads to pop in and a "working" coffin which opens up to reveal the arsenal inside. Metal chains sling around BTG's shoulders to keep the coffin aloft.  
 
 

Alucard

  NEWS Hellsing Action Figures - Shipping Oct. 2003
   Unlikely heroes appear to be today's theme with Alucard from Hellsing following Beyond the Grave. Hailing from the violent animation series, Alucard is an ancient, powerful vampire who serves the Hellsing Agency as led by Integra Wingates Hellsing. A team of heavily armed commandos are usually dispatched to deal with normal supernatural scenarios but when the big guns (literally) are required, Alucard magically manifests himself. In the series, one of Alucard's most persistent and enduring opponents is a holier than thou warrior named Alexander Anderson who shares Alucard's gift for denying death.
   Yamato's Hellsing figures measure 7.5" each and NCS expects pricing at US$30 each.

 
 

Space Invaders Redux

  NEWS Space Invaders Controller Preview
   Taito has released new images of the Space Invaders 25th Anniversary Bundle controller. The top of the unit flips open to accept a Dual Shock 2 pad which controls the cannon in the Space Invaders game.
