PLEASE READ: The NEW SHOP is separate and distinct from the OLD SHOP. If you place an order on the OLD SHOP, you will not be able to use the NEW SHOP to check on your order and vice versa. Unfortunately, we were not able to resolve the two shop databases in order to transfer customer histories and accounts. Both shops are fully operational and capable of taking orders.

Dust off the Tatacon

PS2 Taiko no Tatsujin 3 + Tatacon Bundle - Shipping Today
The third Taiko no Tatsujin (Drum Master) rhythm game bops over to the PS2 as the winter of 2003 closes in. Play mechanics are simple, with five basic moves to tap on the TataCon drum controller as colored smiley face cues scroll across the screen on a continuous conveyer belt. For example, when a Red Smiley face hits the targeting marker, the player bangs the surface of the Tatacon drum controller with one beat. Should a Blue Smiley rush across the screen, the player rumbles sticks on the edge of the Tatacon to get kudos.
Musical selections in the game include 39 new songs out of 103 total which range the J-Pop spectrum from recent favorites to chart topping hits such as "Good Bye Summer," "Door to Tomorrow," "One Night Carnival," "True Blue," "UFO," and then there are even Namco's own classics such as the theme from Galaga '88 and "Soul Calibur II Brave Sword, Braver Soul."
A new mini-game mode may also be enjoyed where two rhythm-ready dogs raise and lower flags in time to your drum beats, which in turn are triggered by following onscreen cues. Three other mini-games are also available which test the mettle of rhythm artists with a penchant for banging the drum. Clearing two or three mini-games successfully will unlock additional mini-games for further deployment. The TnT3 Bundle includes a Tatacon-troller.

FFXI USA

   NEWS General Updates
Due to yet another case of leaving cartons behind inside shipping hubs, everything else that was originally slated to arrive this morning has been delayed until tomorrow. That's Transformers Tatakai, Spectral Souls, D.C.P.S., etc which will ship to all preorders on Friday.
Along with the Gundam Gameboy Advance SP bundle which we opened and then closed preorders for a couple of weeks ago, we start preorders for the matching Gundam Gamecube console which ships on November 27. The new Cube is colored a copper-rust-crimson blend which evokes images of Char's trademark shade. The Zeon emblem also adorns the top circular disk glued to the lid of the Cube. Pricing is expected to come in at US$295.
Found figures: Macross Minmay Song Figure and a Hikaru Ichijo Pilot Figure.
All remaining international preorders for the USA version of FFXI will ship this afternoon. Early preorders will include a bonus mousemat that seems awfully small to accommodate a free roaming mouse. But, it's free.
