Takanobu
Terada, the producer of Super Robot Wars D and Super Robot Wars
Alpha, and Kozo Igarashi who produced Evangelion and Kidou Senshi
Gundam 0079 collaborate on a new Super Robot Wars game which takes
the famous series from stutter-step 2-D grids to full-blown 3-D
worlds.
Join the crew, gang, and stalwarts of the Super Robot Wars games
once again in tactical strategy battles which span the galaxy. Troop
movement and positioning are handled on a lush visual 3-D world map
but battles are shown in thrilling cinematic animations where
special attacks, moves and other goodness are rendered in grand
detail.
Scramble Commander utilizes a new style of real-time strategic
battling where the player becomes a troop commander who sends scout
units on recon missions, heavily armored units on skirmishes and
other fire fights.
Beautifully rendered 3-D models and environments are featured in
the game along with mecha and robots from many Sunrise, Toei, Gainax
and Bandai animation series such as Combattler V, Dancougar,
Evangelion, The End of Evangelion, Getter Robo, Great Mazinger,
Gundam W, Gundam ZZ, Raideen, and Z Gundam. |
