PLEASE READ: The NEW SHOP is separate and distinct from the OLD SHOP. If you place an order on the OLD SHOP, you will not be able to use the NEW SHOP to check on your order and vice versa. Unfortunately, we were not able to resolve the two shop databases in order to transfer customer histories and accounts. Both shops are fully operational and capable of taking orders.

PS2 GT4 Prologue

PS2 Gran Turismo 4 Prologue - Shipping today

The GT4P beginning intro in the Grand Canyon track is television-like with breathing crowds (flashbulbs glitter during one junction as the car motors down while kicking up a cloud of dust), realistic scenery and a car which reflects the sunlight like a real car would. Starting the game brings up School Mode, Arcade Mode, Load/Save Data, Replay Theater and Credits. The Credits consist of a single page of miniscule text. When starting an arcade game, five courses may be chosen - Tsukuba Circuit, New York, Grand Canyon, Fuji Speedway and Gitta de Aria in Italy. There's twelve cars (out of 50 total) of varying vintages that may be driven immediately - the Fairlady 240ZG '71, a sleek Skyline Coupe 350GT (V35) '03, MR2 GT-S (SW20) '98, Lancer Evolution VIII GSR '03 or a Celica GT-Four Rally Car '95. Being New Yawkers, we chose the New York track and drove through Time Square sans the sea of yellow cabs and the storm of crowds. It was eerie. All of the familiar sights are there - the shops, the gaudy signs, the Nasdaq zipper and more. As if to reinforce the idea that this was indeed New York, the orange/white roadside markers and concrete barriers are grimy. Kudos to Sony for the exacting realism... Please note that the GT-Force Pro bundle has not arrived yet but we will contact customers today with an update.

PS2 Kunoichi

  PS2 Kunoichi - Shipping today

When one conjures up images of ninja, black garb and shadowy stealth are roused up from the depths of recollection. Stealth walking, camouflage and silent movement are key to a ninja's ability to stay undetected during assassination attempts or other deeds best done in the shadows.
None of these principles of stealth apply to kunoichi or lady ninja, apparently. Dressed in a bright-as-day red and white costume that is more reminiscent of Wonder Woman than the archetypal ninja exemplified by Hotsuma in Shinobi, kunoichi Hibana literally trails light wherever she walks.
As the story goes, the life-sucking blade Akujiki has been busted up and scattered around Tokyo to ward off the forces of darkness. Enter the Nakatomi Corporation (no, not the company in Diehard) which has begun to gather the pieces of Akujiki for sinister purposes. Demonic forces have already invaded Tokyo proper and Hibana ventures forth to stop Nakatomi Corp from reconstituting the blade and stem the tide of demons before they overrun the city. Chain combo attacks or tates return in Kunoichi where Hibana zooms around the room and kills hapless enemies in a fluid, graceful sequence. An unlimited number of tates may be pulled off, or at least unlimited in as far as there are bodies available to slice.

PS2 Z Gundam: AEUG. vs Titans - Shipping today

Seven years after the events in Gundam: Federation vs Zeon, the combatant names have changed but the encounters on land and in space remain pretty much the same. Seasoned Gundam drivers will find the routine familiar - select your Gundam machines and enter an arena where sword attacks, gunfire and long range blasting all factor in the fray. A lock-on targeting marker may be spotted onto quarry if it is close enough and close-range combos deliver the coup-de-grace on faltering foes. When enemy soldiers rotate out of sight, a "Caution" arrow appears to warn a player of where danger may be lurking.
A number of mecha from both sides may be found in the game including the Gundam RX-78-2, RX-178 Gundam Mk. II, MSA-005 Methuss (transformable mobile suit), RMS-117 Galbaldy Beta, the AMX-004 Qubeley, and the MS-06F Zaku II. One of the weirder mech designs may also be unlocked in the game - the NRX-055 Bound Doc, which looks like a spiky knight wearing a dress. Three Bound Docs were used by Titan Newtypes to bombastic effect against the AEUG during the Gryps War.  AEUG vs Titans offers up-to-four-player online gaming but the charges are fairly steep at Y900/mo for broadband access and a per-minute rate for dialup gamers.
