   The love continues now that D3P has released Love * Ping Pong for the masses where game play isn't necessarily the focus but the girls apparently are. One clue has to be the rule where each win for a girl is rewarded by a new outfit. Twelve ping pong gals are featured in the game and twelve possible outfits may be unlocked for the girls to dally around in. Starting up, players may opt for Dramatic (Story Mode), Versus (Two players), Free Play and Practice. The practice function introduces a teacher who bequeaths the ken of ping pong on inductees of the sport. Ping pong is played with conventional paddle slaps, serves and slices but things also get surreal with the special "attacks" where the ball swerves wildly and leaves light trails.
 
 

One Piece Grand Battle 3

   One Piece, the anime and increasingly the games, enjoys a faithful following of fans. Luffy and crew are determined pirates who seek treasure, fame and just happen to excel in their particular skills. Luffy is an unlikely captain with his goofy grin, straw hat and lanky frame but somehow, he pulls everyone together. In the latest gaming outing, Luffy, Roronoah Zoro, Eneru, Viper and twelve other characters fight one-on-one in a 3-D cel-shaded battle for treasure. Every fighter uses innate skills for grabbing an edge - Luffy for example, extends his appendages to knock opponents from a distance while Zoro attacks with three swords. Beautifully rendered stages include the ancient setting of Shandora Temple, Alabasta Castle, Drum Castle, Mock Town, and the impressive Maxim Airship.
 
 
   'Tis the season, so Sega has started soliciting preorders for a Love Hina Christmas set featuring Naru and Shinobu and Evangelion Christmas miniatures. The Love Hina girls measure 15cm tall while the wee EVA maids are 8cm.

  NEWS Import Release Delays

   A few Japanese imports have been delayed - some by a week but others have been pushed further away.
 
** SNK vs Capcom Chaos is now slated for December 25, 2003
   Christmas is a western holiday and holds only symbolic significance in Japan - i.e, gift giving is practiced but shipments and business will be in full swing on December 25. The SVC Chaos Joystick has also been delayed by a week. NCS expects to receive our shipments on Dec. 24 (Wed) or Dec. 26 (Fri)

** Battle Gear 3 has also been pushed back to December 25, 2003.

** The next couple of Sega Ages games (Columns and Bonanza Bros) are now TBA 2004.

** Shadow Hearts 2 (regular and limited edition) now ships on February 19, 2004.

** Star Ocean 3: Director's Cut has been postponed to January 22, 2004.

Big bulky boxes scheduled to arrive tomorrow
   There's a bunch of massive import shipments on the way and it's somewhat of a problem that partial deliveries weren't made today to break up the bulk. In any case, just about everything that didn't arrive today (which is pretty much everything) is now slated to arrive on Thursday and we'll endeavor to ship all preorders to everyone on time. The Donkey Konga package is fairly big but we know the dimensions of each box and will be reasonably prepared for efficient dispatch to all preorders.
Transformers Alternators BT-03 and BT04
   Preorders are now open for the next couple of Transformers Alternators Figures. The Transformers BT-03 Binaltech Silver Streak Featuring Impreza WRX is shown to the left and the Transformers BT-04 Binaltech Autobot Hound is directly below it. Hound changes from imposing bot to rugged jeep. BT-03 ships in March 2004 and BT-04 catches up in April 2004 and pricing is expected to be US$49 for each toy.
Import toy restock soon
   Additional supplies of the Sega Gals Collection capsule toys, Onegai Teacher One Coin figures, Naruto v2.0 plushes, Chun-Li vs Cammy figures and others are slated to arrive next week along with the Sega Christmas figures mentioned above. We will process all backorders once stock arrives.  
Courier transit times
   With Christmas just around the corner and shipping volumes spiking this month, please allow an extra day for UPS to deliver Ground packages. Air shipments are still guaranteed throughout the entire month - which means you are eligible for shipping refunds if a scheduled air package is not delivered on say, December 24. Just for reference, most Ground packages will reach customers in New England within 1-2 days. Californians and west coast customers normally receive Ground packages in 5 days. Everywhere in between will take 2-4 days.
   Express Mail deliveries appear to be on track despite the weather related hiccup last week and pretty much every shipment to every state is reaching our customers on time. Please be aware that USPS designates smaller cities as 2-day service areas for Express Mail but bigger cities are normally 1-day service areas.
