PLEASE READ: The NEW SHOP is separate and distinct from the OLD SHOP. If you place an order on the OLD SHOP, you will not be able to use the NEW SHOP to check on your order and vice versa. Unfortunately, we were not able to resolve the two shop databases in order to transfer customer histories and accounts. Both shops are fully operational and capable of taking orders.

GC Amazing Island - Shipping Today

A would-be tyrant dubbed Dark Evil is intent on getting his grippy paws on the freedom loving locale known as Amazing Island. This aggression must not stand. To battle back the rising tide, players have been charged with the creation and development of a little creature who would become saviour. Start the journey and questions are peppered at the player (in Japanese) - the answers affect the type of creature that you'll be presented with. Once the basic framework of the beast is apparent, a little creature editor pops into view where just about every facet of your beast may be molded, painted and pasted with a large assortment of eyes, body edits, arms and other appendages. The designers of Amazing Island may have been inspired by the incredible biodiversity seen in nature and have made sure that fiendishly outlandish beasts may be created in Amazing Island. Once crafted, your beast is shuffled into a series of mini-games to gain points to develop further and stake a claim at being the hero that saved Amazing Island. Mini-games include batting a large ball back and forth against an opponent - missing the ball will cause the ledge that you're standing on to diminish in size. Another game includes running maniacally across the screen in a mad dash attempt to grab as many rings as possible...

PS2 Anubis Special Edition - Shipping Today

Eschewing the gaudy "The Best" re-release route, Konami takes things into their own hands with a fancier, more distinctive "Special Edition" which features original cover art instead of the yellow banner of the Best Series. NCS decided to only stock the limited edition of this particular release due to the small price disparity (Y200) against the regular edition. Anubis ZOE Special Edition LE includes a Maxi-CD single of the Anubis theme song "Beyong the Bounds (Haidara Remix)" and a couple of variant tracks for your listening pleasure. A special slipcase holds the game and music CD snugly.

  PS2 Puzzle & Action Tant-R + Bonanza Bros - Shipping Today

A wealthy and eccentric gentleman hires the brothers Mobo and Robo - known as the Bonanza Brothers - to rob his businesses and his mansion. The reasoning? To prove to himself that he's not immune from the rigors that normal peasants endure. Topple the security forces in 10 different locales and stun the guards with paint guns, avoid traps and abscond riches throughout the plainly-polygon designed levels. When the guards fire back, one may cozy up against to wall and watch as the projectile whizzes harmlessly past. A few guards heft shields to block any buckshot so you'll have to wait until they turn and shoot them in the back.

Sega includes a remake of the puzzle game known as Tant-R in the Bonanza Bros disk. Tant-R features a number of simple puzzle and action games such as going through a maze that is viewed from overhead, moving a frog so that it touches all the lilypads without backtracking, taking snapshots of fast moving subjects as they pass your camera, and other simplistic games with single objectives. In the game, Sherlock Holmes and Watson are in hot pursuit of the Bonanza Bros who attempt to elude the sleuthing duo by performing well in the various mini-games.

  NEWS General Updates

Temperatures are frigid in New York. Citizens are roaming around 8 degree environs today and it looks to stay this cold (and even colder) up until Sunday. Normally, such temperatures wouldn't be worthy of a mention here but they've affected our inbound shipments which arrived in New York as of this morning but are still pending delivery. When it gets this cold, metal sticks to skin on contact, vehicles act up, and the threat of frostbite becomes a reality. Big trucks also don't do so hot on icy roads...
Everything is still expected to arrive today but since we're nearing the noon mark, an update must be posted and we'll throw up game synopses on Friday. Three games are expected later today and all preorders will ship for GC Amazing Island, PS2 Anubis Special Edition and Bonanza Bros.
A number of delayed imports and restock are expected tomorrow - Spy Fiction was released on December 25 but we'll be able to fill preorders this Friday. Also on the way are Japanese PS2 consoles - SCPH-50000NB units which are colored midnight black and replaces the original black units, PS2 Biohazard Outbreak, Transformers Tataki and many others. We'll post updates once everything makes it in tomorrow morning.
