Game Synopsis

Rejoin Fate Linegod,
Sophia Esteed, Roger Huxley and the rest of the crew of Star Ocean with the
Director's Cut which ships on 2 DVDs instead of the
single DVD found in the original game. To meet the ship date and conserve space
in the original release of Star Ocean, Enix left gobs of game content on the
cutting room floor but all that heretofore unseen material has been scooped up
and included in Director's Cut.
New playable characters include Mirage Coast who joins the party at
the Space Ship Diplo and Adlai Lasbard who joins at Shirando Castle. Mirage
brings battle skills such as Festive Avenger along with her while Adlai pounds
out the hurt with Titan Fist. A new wardrobe of threads is available for all of
the characters including maid outfits for a few of the girls.
A Versus Mode is new to the game where players may fight against a
second player or a computer-controlled player. A three-way brawl may also be
enjoyed where 2 human players and the CPU fight or 1 human fights against 2 CPU
brawlers. Bouts may last 90 seconds, 3 minutes or unlimited time where the last
man standing wins.
Please note that Square Enix intends for Director's Cut to be
played from the start and enjoyed as a new adventure. As such, save data
from Star Ocean 3 (original) cannot be used in Director's Cut.
