GBA Zero One SP - Ships Apr. 29
   After the events in the first Zero One game, another threat places humankind on a precarious pedestal and players rise to the challenge by recruiting super humans to battle back. Played in flick-screen interactive sequences, heroes speak to characters, watch storylines unfold and find love amongst female comrades. Takehito Ito, creator of Outlaw Star and Ryu Knight, provides character design for the game.
PS2 Bomberman Kart DX - Ships Apr. 15
   The Bombermen take another break from maze bombing and get into karts once again for some racing action. Borrowing a few pages from Mario Kart, players may attack fellow racers, grab bonuses littered on the track and ignite karts with speed boosts. A drift mode would be nice as well...but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. According to preorder details, early reservations include a Bomberman cellphone strap adorned with a red LED. The visor on Bomber's helmet also goes up and down.

PS2 Tantei Jinguuji Saburo: Kind of Blue - Ships Apr. 22
   Edgy detective Jinguuji Saburo goes on the hunt once again in a new adventure which explores the seedy underbelly of Shinjuku Kabuki-cho. His latest client requests a job more fitting for an episode of GetBackers than a Saburo game - a song has been lost and the super sleuth has been commissioned to find it. Along the way, Saburo finds himself in difficult situations which place his close friends in danger... Similar to other Saburo games, Kind of Blue plays like an interactive novel where artsy scenes, montages, and sound effects complement the interaction.
 
 

Super Robot Wars Controller

  PS2 Super Robot Wars Controller SE - Shipping May 27
   Continuing their recent spate of controller releases and reissues, Hori has announced a new "Special Edition" production of the Super Robot Wars Controller to coincide with the May 27 release of Super Robot Wars MX. The preorder sheet shows a standard SRW Controller (originally released in May 2003) but that's apparently only for demonstrative purposes. The Special Edition may be a color variant or include a bonus decal of some sort but we'll update once we receive additional news and/or photos.

   The controller features two Dual Shock thumbsticks mounted on a joypad-shaped platform with the four main buttons centered between them. The directional pad is mounted on the right side of the unit but it may be swiveled over for left-handed players. Preorders are welcome today for delivery on May 27. Pricing is expected to come in at US$65. 
 
 

Rockman Badge Collection

  TOYS Rockman Badges and Wristbands- Shipping March, April
   Manufacturer Dreams Come True announced a pair of Rockman products which are shipping fairly soon.

The first is a Rockman Collection Can-Badge which includes a trading card, a colorful badge and a piece of candy which are all wrapped up in a little plastic wrapper. Twenty four variant badges and one special edition badge are randomly scattered in every factory case and we sample some of the badges in the photo to the left. Pricing is expected to be US$3.50 per badge with delivery in mid-late March 2004. Please note that NCS will only be able to sell the badges randomly due to the random nature of this product offering.  
Next up, the Rockman EX Battlechip + Wristband ships in April. A bountiful 25 types of battlechips are possible along with six wristband colors. Each wristband is made of cushiony cotton and features a sewn-in artwork patch on the front. The battlechips may be used with the Rockman EXE Pet handheld toy that was released in Japan.
