PLEASE READ: The NEW SHOP is separate and distinct from the OLD SHOP. If you place an order on the OLD SHOP, you will not be able to use the NEW SHOP to check on your order and vice versa. Unfortunately, we were not able to resolve the two shop databases in order to transfer customer histories and accounts. Both shops are fully operational and capable of taking orders.

Toro to Nagare Boshi

PS2 Dokodemo Issyo: Toro to Nagare Boshi - NEW Import

One clear night, Toro and a human friend named Pokebi are peering out a window in the hopes of spotting a shooting star. One whizzes by with the quickness and Toro makes his wish. Thrice. Although the star appeared to be  streaking across the sky, Toro's eyes grow as big as saucers when he realizes that the star has miraculously changed course and is now headed directly for him and Pocket Biscuit (Pokebi). A bright light, a roaring sound and the sight of Toro leaping to safety ensues. After the collision, Toro is bequeathed with the shooting star's duties and Toro goes into the business of fulfilling wish requests from woodland animals and human folks around town. Played in interactive fashion, Toro chats with and works on the plight of wishers...

Hardware Cyber System AV Selector Pro - NEW Import

Manufacturer CyberGadget helps gamers gather together all their consoles with the Cyber System AV Selector Pro which packs eight inputs for connecting multiple game consoles, DVD players, VCRs, etc into one switcher. The construction is solid with a sleek metal housing and tactile buttons which depress with a click when switching between AV devices.    The AV Selector supports Dolby Digital 5.1 through optical connectors available on three of the inputs. A standard optical cable (not included) or digital coax cable is required. Shining Force III: Scenario 1

ETC Sale of the Day (SOTD)

We originally stocked Shining Force III: Scenario 1 on December 11, 1997. Looking back at our purchase orders from that month, we see that we imported 850 copies in the first batch and another 350 copies for the following week. In those seven years since, we still have ~160 copies of the game in stock which we sell at US$23. Unfortunately, 1 full case or 50 copies of the game were exposed to moisture last year.  The games look okay and are still packaged in the factory shrinkwrap with cellophane pull but there are little crinkles in the manual and spine card. Due to the wayward waterworks from yesteryear, we're pricing each copy at US$8 which includes USPS Media Mail shipping + Delivery Confirmation anywhere in the contiguous USA or US$13 for international customers.

Dreamcast Magazine Vol. 40

ETC Magazine of the Day (MOTD)

SOLDOUT
Dreamcast Magazine Vol. 40 was released on December 15, 2000, a time when the DC was firing on all cylinders and software publishers believed in the little console codenamed Katana. The news section checks out a few VMU variants and some new gadgets. A special section in the magazine checks out every DC game ever released up to that point. In case you're curious, there's a total of 245 games and in tiny type, DC Magazine lists its release date, yen price, VGA compatibility and average review score. An example is Shenmue which was released on December 29, 1999 and earned a score of 9.33.

In terms of new reviews, there were only two games for the week of December 1~7 - Moero Justice Gakuen which earned a 7.33 and Blue Submarine No. 6: Saigetsu Fumahito - Time and Tide which deservedly received straight 8s.

In-depth features in the magazine consist of Gauntlet Legends, Sakura Kinematron, Phantasy Star Online and Moero! Justice Gakuen, Detailed Justice Gakuen character guides give a little background and show special moves for every fighter. A thorough guide on Time & Tide shows off character sketches, ship designs, game scenarios and colorful scenes from the game.

Previews include Macross M3, Eve Zero, Angel Present, Hundred Swords, and Fighting Vipers 2. For Vipers 2, the sketch book of the artist who designed the characters in the game is opened up and the creative process is examined in thorough fashion over a 4-page spread. An interview with the designers of Guilty Gear X makes for some interesting reading - there's a photo of Daisuke Ishiwatari who has bleached the lower part of his long hair a blonde color. It's a stark contrast when he stands next to the straight-laced Iori Doi. A GGX feature that follows checks out some artwork sent in by devoted readers and a couple of cosplayers dressed to the nines. Later on in the magazine, there's a bunch of artwork sent in from readers which celebrate various Sakura Taisen characters.

NCS prices DC Magazine at US$6.50 which includes shipping with USPS Media Mail + Delivery Confirmation within the USA.
